2-Phenylpropionic acid is an intermediate in the metabolism of alpha-Methylstyrene. 2-Phenylpropionic acid covalently binds to rat liver protein. 2-Phenylpropionic acid can be used in the research of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory agents[1][2][3].
