16-Deethylindanomycin (A 83094A) is an antibiotic, which can be produced by Streptomyces setonii. 16-Deethylindanomycin exhibits antimicrobial activities against gram-positive bacteria Staphylococcus spp. and Streptococcus with MIC of 2-4 ug/mL. 16-Deethylindanomycin exhibits anticoccidial activity against Eimeria tenella[1].
