How can I export a list of entities that I have selected in a pathway?

There is two options to export selected entities from a pathway:

Export a selection to Excel from the Entity Table View

1. Select the desired entities in your pathway view (Graph or Entity Table view)
2. If you are in the Graph view, choose View > Entity Table View to switch from the Graph View to the Entity Table View
3. From the Entity Table view, select Tools > Send Data to Excel to export the entity list to MS Excel.

Save as a group and export the list to Excel

You have first to save selected entities as a group (a group is a list with no relations). Then you can open the group in the bottom pane and export the list to Excel.  To do this, follow these steps:
1. Select the desired entities in your pathway (graph) view.  (Alternatively you can select them from the Entity Table view as well.)
2. Choose Edit > Copy. 
3. In the Information Pane (left) select “New Group” to open a new group window. 
4. Select Edit > Paste to copy the entity list into the group.
5. Save the group.
6. In the Folders view, right-click on the Group Icon and select “Show Contents In Bottom Pane.”  The List Pane at the bottom will open and display the entities in the group.
7. Choose, Select > All, then choose Tools > Send Data to Excel to export the entity list to MS Excel.
