How do I convert a PDF document to text using MedScan?

You can convert a Full-text article in PDF format to text format using the tool ‘PDF to Text Converter’ in MedScan.

Below are steps to follow:

1. Open MedScan Reader.

2. Click on the File button from the main toolbar and select ‘Open Document..’ (Figure 1).

3. Browse and select the pdf file to be converted and open it.

4. Click on ‘Open PDF text in a new tab’ option located on the new displayed pop-up window (Figure 2).

5. A new tab containing the pdf document content in text format is created (Figure 3)
