How do I deactivate my license in Pathway Studio 5 Desktop and activate my license in Pathway Studio 6 Desktop?

Note:  Before upgrading your Pathway Studio 5 desktop installation to Pathway Studio 6, please read the Technical Support Bulletin that describes the data migration considerations.*

You must deactivate your Pathway Studio 5 license before you can activate your Pathway Studio 6 installation.  To do this follow these steps:

1. In Pathway Studio 5, select Help > Activate Pathway Studio
2. Write down your license number for your records.
3. Select “Deactivate”.
4. When you open Pathway Studio 6 for the first time after installation, an activation dialog appears.  Select “Activate Pathway Studio.”
5. Select the radio button “Activate the selected product . . .”
6. Input the license key in the Activate/Deactivate the Application window and select the “Activate” button.
7. Pathway Studio 6 is now activated and available for use.

If your computer is not connected to the internet you need to request an activation code from Ariadne.  Please refer to the Installation Guide (see below) for further instructions on requesting an activation code.
