Pathway Studio Workgroup Edition

·         Ariadne has decommissioned Pathway Studio®, Workgroup Edition effective August 15, 2008.  Ariadne will provide incident support for the Workgroup Edition in Pathway Studio 5 to subscribers until August 15, 2009.

·         Support for Pathway Studio Workgroup Edition was discontinued and is unavailable as of October 15, 2009.

Pathway Studio 5 and MedScan Reader 1

·         Ariadne has decommissioned the Simulation Capability with the release of Pathway Studio 6, effective August 15, 2008.  Ariadne will provide incident support for the Simulation Capability in Pathway Studio 5 to subscribers until August 15, 2009.

·         Support for Pathway Studio 5 and MedScan Reader 1 was discontinued and is unavailable as of October 15, 2009.

Pathway Studio 6 and MedScan Reader 2

·         Ariadne discontinued support for Pathway Studio 6 and MedScan Reader 2 effective October 15, 2010 with the release of Pathway Studio 8 and MedScan Reader 4.

Pathway Studio 7 and MedScan Reader 3

·         Ariadne discontinued support for Pathway Studio 7 and MedScan Reader 3 effective October 17, 2011 with the release of Pathway Studio 9 and MedScan Reader 5.

Pathway Studio 8 and MedScan Reader 4

·         Ariadne  will discontinue support for Pathway Studio 8 and MedScan Reader 4 effective October 15, 2012  or with the release of Pathway Studio 10 and MedScan Reader 6.

Data Product(s)

·         Integrated Genomics, Metabolic Vision, and STKE Signaling Pathways have been decommissioned and are no longer offered for sale as of August 25, 2008.

·         Ariadne descommissioned support for ChemEffect 1 on November 15, 2010 with the release of ChemEffect 3.

·         Ariadne descommissioned support for ChemEffect 2 on October 17, 2011 with the release of ChemEffect 4.

·         Ariadne will decommission support for ChemEffect 3 on the latter of October 15, 2012 or with the release of ChemEffect 5.

MedScan 3.0 Capabilities

·         With the release of MedScan 3.0 on Oct. 15, 2009, Ariadne reallocated capability between ResNet 7 Mammalian Database / Cartridge and ChemEffect 2 Database / Cartridge to more clearly define these products utility and identity.  This change may have resulted in the loss of capability for some clients.  Upon request, Ariadne will provide fully-paid current subscribers to Pathway Studio 7 with a “MedScan 2.2 Cartridge” plug-in that can be installed into the MedScan 3 framework and restore previous location for the duration of their then current subscription.

License Management

·         As of August 25, 2008, Ariadne no longer offers renewal or support for perpetual licenses in any of its standard products.  Clients are advised to transition to the subscription based model.

·         On October 15, 2009, with the release of Pathway Studio 7, Ariadne has transitioned to a new license mechanism to support floating licenses.  Previously deployed license server software and technology is no longer compatible.  Clients wishing to continue use of floating licenses should migrate to Pathway Studio 7 and upgrade to Ariadne’s latest floating license server.

·         On October 15, 2009 with the release of Pathway Studio 7, license keys required for use of Pathway Studio 7 are incompatible with previous versions of Pathway Studio.  Also, previously issued license keys are incompatible for use with Pathway Studio 7 Enterprise Server.  Ariadne will provide fully-paid current subscribers replacement license keys for operation of Pathway Studio 7 Enterprise Server.
