Pathway Studio pathways analysis software helps you to:

Pathway Studio comes with the ResNet Mammalian Database with access to other databases including ResNet Plant and ResNet Targeted Databases, which enables pathway analysis for most model organisms. Pathway Studio also supports KEGG, Science Signaling, and Prolexys HyNet yeast two-hybrid database.
You can keep the ResNet databases up-to-date with newly published facts with Ariadne MedScan technology or use our Quarterly database updates.
Pathway Studio enables in-depth analysis of any list of interrelated biological data. This is particularly useful for the interpretation of microarray gene expression experiments where microarray data analysis software may have been used to produce a gene list for further biological analysis. Import the gene list and the associated experimental data into Pathway Studio and use Pathway Studio to find relationships in the data based upon biological knowledge. Pathway Studio finds common regulators and associates pathway components with like-behaving biological entities and processes. All relationships are supported and validated by citations, linked to their references of origin.
For some types of gene expression analysis however, Pathway Studio makes it unnecessary to generate a gene list. Pathway Studio with Gene Set Enrichment Analysis enables analysis of the entire probe set, associating genes into like-functioned or like-associated biological properties.
Both of these approaches adds a biological perspective to your experimental data and takes your analysis beyond clustering comparisons and heat-map visualization.
