ResNet Targeted Databases

Ariadne Technical Support team receives requests for databases for organisms and research areas not covered by the ResNet Mammalian and Plant databases. To fulfil these requests, they have built several data sets covering different species, and make these available "as is" for interested researchers.

ResNet Targeted Databases are available for three model organisms: Saccharomyces cerevisiae, Caenorhabditis elegans, and Drosophila melanogaster. They contain molecular interactions, pathways, and protein annotations from EntrezGene and can be used for analysis of gene expression data.

Additional molecular interaction databases are also available "as is".

  • Bos taurus (cow)
  • Canis familiaris (dog)
  • Gallus gallus (chicken)
  • Xenopus laevis (African clawed frog)
  • Danio rerio (zebrafish)

These databases were constructed by importing orthologous protein-protein interactions from the ResNet Mammalian Database. A molecular interaction database for Apis mellifera (bee) was constructed using orthologous interactions from the Drosophila database.

ResNet Targeted Databases were developed as a part of Ariadne customer support effort, they have not passed Ariadne quality control and and do not belong to Pathway Studio product offering. They are supplied as reference material upon request.
