Scientific presentation: "Construction of a database for pathway analysis of Zea mays"
Two trait analyses were discussed at the Plant Biology 2011 Meeting in Minneapolis during a scientific seminar and a poster presentation:
1. Discovery of maize regulatory network and
2. Evaluation of gene expression changes for drought tolerance in maize.
The following findings made using Pathway Studio software were presented:
- Examine gene expression in drought tolerant maize to determine pathways and cellular processes involved with the trait
- Find regulatory networks from published maize molecular information
- Discover markers for drought tolerance
